Manali, with plethora of treks, has gained huge popularity among trekkers and mountaineers. Bhrigu Lake trek is one of the best treks in Manali that presents fabulous views of this emerald valley.

You will be lucky enough during Bhrigu Lake trekking as it offers you a chance of meandering through the Rohtang Pass, spotting the divine Bhrigu Lake and soaking in the beautiful springs of Vashisht. The trek portrays the lovely hill station of Kullu Valley at its best, and is sufficient enough to keep you busy in capturing the picturesque landscape throughout the trail. Keep your cameras handy and capture some of the best shots of the scenic nature during your Bhrigu Lake trekking tour. This trek for sure will give you a series of unforgettable memories, which you will love to cherish all your life.

Short Itinerary:

Day 1 : Drive to Gulaba. Trek from Gulaba to Rola Kholi

Day 2 : Rola Kholi to Pandu Ropa via Bhrigu Lake

Day 3 : Pandu Ropa to Manali

Day 1 : Drive to Gulaba.Trek from Gulaba to Rola Kholi (12,500 feet approx.), – 7 km, 4 to 5 hour trek

Report at Manali Bus Stand at 7 AM. We will board a taxi for the trek starting point near Gulaba. Its a 22km ride on the road leading to Rohtang Pass. Gradually hike though forest & meadows with fabulous views of Manali & Solang Valley in the background. Some of the notable peaks in view are Mt. Hanuman Tibba and the Seven Sister peaks seated in Beas Kund Valley. Carry sufficient water in your bottle as there are very limited/No source (depending on the season) of water before Kolang Nallah. After 3-4 hour of hike we will reach Kolang Nallah. There is a makeshift wooden bridge on this Nallah for most of months. After crossing the Nallah the camping site is another 1.5-2 hours hike away. Rola Kholi is a campsite Rola Kholi is a scenic campsite covered from 3 sides with mountains which gives excellent protection from winds. It is an ideal camping spot where the water source is flowing across the camping ground.

Day 2 : Rola Kholi to Pandu Ropa (11,800 feet approx.) via Bhrigu Lake (14,000 feet approx.) – 14 km, 7 to 8 hour trek.

Starting early in the morning is advisable as the approach to bhrigu lake is steep & trek is long. As we trek to the lake, the trail turns from Green to Brown to White (in winters). The approach to lake is though boulders & scree where being cautious is advisable. Reach the lake which is frozen for most of the months. If you happen to visit in the months of summer you will find grass & tiny alpine flowers surrounding the lake. After spending some quite time at the lake head to Pandu Ropa. The meadow walk is refreshing all the way to rice fields of Pandu Ropa. Camp here for the night.

Day 3 : Pandu Ropa to Manali (6800 feet) – 8 km, 4 hour trek.

Drive down from Vashisht to Manali. Board evening bus to Delhi from Manali. Today's trek is all the way downhill where your lungs will be at ease but feet will do the extra work. The downhill sections are quite steep & slippery at places. The trail is well defined. On the way you will see hiker who are doing this trek from the other side. Last section of the trek is through villages & apple orchards. Do not pluck apples without the permission of owner. Hike will end in Vashish which is famous for a hot sulphur water spring. We will reach Vashisht by 4 PM Approx. Trip ends in Manali. Take a dip in the public pool if you wish so. You can walk or take an auto rikshaw for Manali which is approx 1 km from here.

Cancellations prior to 30 days from the start of the trek -- 80% Refund.

Cancellation between 30 days to 20 days prior to the trek -- 50% Refund.

Cancellation less than 20 days to the start of the trek -- No Refund.


1. GST @ 5% payable on the trip fee.

2. We provide transport from pick up point to Base Camp and vice-versa at a particular time. So you have to report this place before that time. If you failed to reach within this time then you have to make your own arrangement to reach and return from our Base Camp, or we can arrange a transport depends on availability by paying an additional charge.

3. We expect all trekkers to carry their own backpacks. All common gear will be carried by the support team. If for some reason a trekker is unable to carry his or her backpack, he/she can offload the same by paying an additional charge.

4. If for any reason a participant has to drop out from the trip on any day then we will make arrangements for his/her return to the nearest road head. A staff will accompany the participant to the nearest road head.

5. We will not be responsible for any loss/damage of your gears/equipment or other belongings on the trip. And if you damage or lose any of our equipment then you have to pay the full market price of that equipment.

6. Drinking and smoking during the trip is strictly prohibited. If found flouting the rules, your participation on the trip will be cancelled with immediate effect.

7. In case of any medical emergency, Medical expenses, if required, at the medical centre are to be borne by the participant.

8. If any of our trip cancelled due to any unavoidable reason. We will issue a voucher of the same amount of the trip. This can be redeemed for the same or any other trip within 1 year.

9. We have the right to postpone cancel the Trekking/ Cycling/ Camping/ Rafting/ Paragliding/ Expedition with or without any reason. We also have the right to terminate the participation of any member at any stage.

10. In case of any delay due to bad road condition or other unforeseen reasons. We will not be responsible.

11. All the issues will be subject to the jurisdiction of Kolkata.

12. All the costs are for Indian Citizen Only.
